The International Program in Survey and Data Science (IPSDS) is a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in order to establish an online study program for working professionals in survey methodology and data science. Core project partners are the University of Mannheim (Germany) and the Joint Program in Survey Methodology at the University of Maryland (USA); future international partners may include institutions in South America, Australia, Asia and elsewhere in Europe. World-class faculty, a modular and multidisciplinary curriculum, and the web-based learning environment with small class sizes are features that make this program distinctive and particularly attractive for working professionals.
